Meet Linda Smith – Opportunity Village Fundraising Icon and Disabilities Advocate

Linda will be speaking at Sun City Aliante during their November Snack ’N’ Learn seminar. She will be sharing the story of her life as a childhood abuse survivor and mother of her disabled son, Christopher, and how she became a relentless advocate for people with disabilities. She will also discuss her first book “Unwanted: How a Mother Learned to Turn Shame, Grief and Fear into Purpose, Passion and Empowerment” and conduct a book signing following the event.
