LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Most recognized in Las Vegas for her work with Opportunity Village, Linda Smith details how she turned shame, grief and fear into purpose, passion and empowerment in her new memoir, “Unwanted.”

The book takes you through the struggles she faced raising her disabled son, Christopher Smith, and how he helped her become a relentless advocate for people with disabilities.
